Qualifications
_ Here's what you'll bring to the table:_
- Ability to work alone without close supervision in remote areas
- Be able to lift 50 lbs on a continuous basis and 100 lbs on occasion.
- Be able to do continuous bending, stooping, and walking on a daily basis.
- Must possess a valid California driver’s license.
- Have adequate leadership and communication skills to direct, schedule and coordinate personnel and services.
- Ability to effectively communicate in English
- Bilingual desired
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) preferred
- Works effectively individually and as part of a team to complete goals and tasks
- Proficiency in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Ability to reason and communicate with management to understand priorities and balance workload and jobs assigned
- Experience with maintenance management software, various irrigation/fertigation systems, and Argus is preferred.
- Advanced welding, cutting, grinding, arc gouging and plasma cutting skills
- Advanced Hydraulic system maintenance and repair
- Advanced 12-24v electrical system knowledge
- Advanced AC/DC electrical diagnostic skills required
- Advanced knowledge of HVAC maintenance and repair
- High school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a maintenance related field
- Experience using a variety of hand and power tools, both electric and pneumatic.
- The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; bend; twist; kneel; climb; reach with hands and arms above and below shoulders.
- Must be able to lift independently 50 pounds frequently, with assistance 100 pounds occasionally
OPTIONAL PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS AND LICSNSES:
- Commercial Driver’s License
- Opacity Test Certification
- Industrial electrical education
- Welding Certification
- MAC or ASC HVAC Recovery Certificate
- Hydraulics
- Manufacture Sponsored Advanced Repair/Maintenance training
- FLEET/SHOP ASSITANT.
- CMRP – Certified Maintenance Professional
- CMT – Certified maintenance Technician
- Preferred other certificates: Opacity, Welding, Electrician, Manufacture Sponsored Repair/Maintenance training, etc
- Must be 18 years of age or older
Pay Rate: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour. Final Compensation will be dependent upon skills & experience.
