    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to assist in overseeing the maintenance operations in our rubber manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of machinery and equipment, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and working with a team of maintenance technicians to meet production goals while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Leadership:
    - Work alongside a team to support and ensure high performance.
    - Lead in the assignment of maintenance tasks, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively and tasks are completed in a timely manner.

    Maintenance Management:
    - Assist in the implementation, and maintenance of an effective preventive maintenance program for all manufacturing equipment and machinery.
    - Conduct regular inspections and assessments of equipment to identify areas requiring maintenance or improvement.
    - Troubleshoot and resolve equipment malfunctions and breakdowns to minimize production downtime.

    Technical Expertise:
    - Assist in providing support and guidance on repairs and troubleshooting techniques.

    Safety & Compliance:

    - Ensure all maintenance activities are conducted in compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
    - Work and promote a culture of safety within the maintenance team, attending safety trainings and enforcing safety protocols.

    Documentation & Reporting:
    - Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment servicing, and parts inventory.
    - Assist in preparing reports to management on maintenance performance, equipment status, and areas for improvement.

    Collaboration:
    - Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to support operational goals and projects.
    - Assist in the planning and execution of equipment installations, modifications, and upgrades.

    Qualifications:

    Education:
    - Degree in Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field (preferred) or equivalent work experience in a manufacturing environment.

    Experience:
    - Minimum of 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.

    Skills:
    - Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills, with the ability to diagnose and repair various types of manufacturing equipment.
    - Familiarity with rubber manufacturing processes, machinery, and maintenance best practices, a plus.
    - Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
    - Proficient in computer skills and using maintenance management software and tools, a plus.

    Certifications:
    - Relevant certifications (e.g., OSHA, PMP, Six Sigma) are a plus.
