    Maintenance Technician II
    New Hope, MN | Contract to Hire | $33 - $36/hour

    Konik is partnering with a leading manufacturing company specializing in health and wellness products to hire a Maintenance Technician. This mid-level, hands-on role supports production by monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining equipment such as presses, cartoners, tube fillers, pouch and stick machines, wrappers, and labelers. The position focuses on preventive maintenance, continuous improvement, and strict adherence to GMP and safety standards.

    What You’ll Do

    • Troubleshoot and repair production and facility equipment to minimize downtime
    • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance
    • Support production teams with equipment coverage and collaborate in daily huddles
    • Document all work accurately and maintain organized maintenance records
    • Ensure safety and GMP compliance while contributing to continuous improvement
    • Participate in root cause analysis, equipment upgrades, and validation processes (FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ)

    What You Bring

    • High school diploma required; 2-year technical degree or 5+ years of relevant maintenance experience
    • 3+ years of experience in a regulated manufacturing setting (food, pharma, or supplements preferred)
    • Strong troubleshooting skills in mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems
    • Ability to read schematics and mechanical drawings; basic PLC understanding
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office and iPad-based tools
    • Welding, milling, or lathe experience preferred
    • Strong sense of urgency and teamwork
