3rd shift:10:00PM - 6:30 AM Sun-Thurs

Holiday or weekend work as required for both shifts.

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support our production operations in Taylor, MI. In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks that keep plant machinery and systems running at peak efficiency. Your expertise in fabrication, welding, electrical systems, pipefitting, and pneumatic/hydraulic systems is essential to minimizing downtime and ensuring safe, continuous production.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintenance & Repairs:

* Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on equipment, including fabrication, welding, electrical repairs, and pipefitting.

* Troubleshoot issues with pneumatic and hydraulic systems to swiftly resolve equipment malfunctions.

• Equipment Management:

* Conduct routine inspections and maintenance to ensure optimal performance of machinery and systems.

* Collaborate with team members to prioritize repair tasks and maintain production schedules.

• Safety & Efficiency:

* Work in a fast-paced, physically demanding plant environment, particularly under varying temperature conditions.

* Adhere to strict safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized work area.

• Shift Flexibility:

* Operate under one of two shift schedules:

  *  **2nd Shift:** Monday to Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

  *  **3rd Shift:** Sunday to Thursday, 10:00 PM – 6:30 AM

* Flexibility to work holidays or weekends as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing or industrial setting.

• Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive approach to preventative maintenance.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.

• Capacity to perform physically demanding tasks and work on your feet for extended periods.

• Flexibility to adapt to multiple shifts and variable work schedules.

Salary info:

$28 - $33 / hr
