Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work independently. This position is responsible for performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on various equipment and systems to ensure optimal operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, machinery, and equipment to identify potential issues and needed repairs.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including adjusting, repairing, and replacing faulty components and systems.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and plumbing issues; provide timely solutions to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repair work performed, including parts and materials used.
• Collaborate with other team members and departments to coordinate maintenance activities and minimize disruptions to operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies while performing maintenance tasks.
• Keep maintenance areas and tools organized and in good condition.
• Assist in the training of less experienced maintenance staff as needed.
• Participate in on-call rotations when required.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a maintenance technician or in a similar role.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools, diagnostic equipment, and various maintenance technologies.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Team-oriented with strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays as necessary.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to stand, kneel, crouch, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods.
