    Position Summary

    Mayzo is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to support our manufacturing operations by maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems. This role is critical to ensuring equipment uptime, safety, and efficient plant operations.

    The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, comfortable working across multiple types of equipment, and thrives in a fast-paced, industrial environment.

    Key Responsibilities

    Equipment Maintenance & Repair

    Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on:

    Mixing & processing equipment (Ribbon Blenders, Kettles, Grinders, Pellet Mills)

    Material handling systems (vacuum conveyance, screw conveyors, powered conveyors)

    Packaging equipment (bottling lines, form/fill/seal machines, ultrasonic sealers)

    Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and operational issues and implement timely solutions. Assist with equipment setup, changeovers, and start-ups.

    Automation & Controls

    Support basic troubleshooting of PLCs and automated systems.

    Work with robotics and automated production equipment to maintain functionality.

    Partner with external vendors or internal teams for advanced controls issues.

    Facility & Utility Support

    Maintain facility systems including:

    Dust collection systems

    Pressure vessels

    Plant utilities and support equipment

    Ensure proper operation of lifting equipment (job cranes, vacuum lifters)

    Safety & Compliance

    Follow all safety procedures and OSHA guidelines

    Support lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures

    Maintain clean and organized work areas

    Identify and report potential safety hazards

    Continuous Improvement

    Identify opportunities to improve equipment reliability and efficiency

    Recommend upgrades or process improvements

    Maintain accurate maintenance logs and documentation

    Qualifications Required

    2–5+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment

    Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills

    Basic electrical knowledge (motors, sensors, wiring)

    Experience with conveyors, pumps, or processing equipment

    Ability to read manuals, schematics, and technical documents

    Willingness to work flexible hours or shifts as needed

    Preferred

    Experience with chemical, plastics, or batch processing environments

    Familiarity with PLCs and automated systems

    Experience with packaging lines and form/fill/seal equipment

    Welding or fabrication experience is a plus

    Physical Requirements

    Ability to lift up to 50 lbs

    Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work in industrial environments

    Comfortable working at heights or in confined spaces as needed
