Condominium Property looking for a Full Time Maintenance Tech.
This is a full time hourly position with overtime potential.
TYPE OF WORK:
Maintenance
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE: General apartment maintenance experience, light carpentry, plumbing, sheet rock repair, painting, ability to work on ladder, pressure washing and general repair knowledge, knowledge of safety procedures, safety conscious, steady and dependable.
SUMMARY OF FUNCTIONS: Responsible for maintaining the physical condition and appearance of the properties. Organize, coordinate and manage the overall maintenance programs including exterior property appearance and timely work order service. Report to propery manager.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties may include, but are not limited to:
Inspect the exterior of the property. Perform building and common area upkeep as needed.
Diagnose and perform minor and routine maintenance/repair in a timely and professional manner. Assure all service requests are completed. Accurately document work performed on service request. Complete renewal service requests in the same timely fashion. Follow-up on incomplete service requests.
Promote good public relations with residents, co-workers, and company staff through great “people” attitude and resident trust. Always display a friendly and courteous attitude towards residents and other employees.
Complete or oversee the completion of preventative maintenance.
Perform effective emergency maintenance (after hours) as required - negotiable.
OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Hours of Work: 8:00a.m. to 4:00p.m.
Amount of Overtime: As needed for emergencies.
Tools: Tools provided by the property.
Transportation: Must have a dependable transportation.
Education: High school education or trade school required. Must be literate.
Valid Driver’s License required.
