    Supporting a franchise group in Southern Maine and New Hampshire, the Maintenance Technician will perform preventative maintenance, deep cleaning, painting, small repairs, basic carpentry, and light plumbing for numerous establishments. Under direction, this person will be responsible for the ongoing maintenance and upkeep of the buildings, equipment, facilities, and grounds.

    This is a Monday-Friday position with the option for overtime. All of the supporting businesses are within a 45-minute drive of Biddeford, ME.

    What You'll Be Doing: Equipment Maintenance

    Clean and perform preventative maintenance on restaurant equipment, including ice machines, refrigerators, toasters, coffee equipment, and ovens

    Make minor repairs to restaurant appliances and fixtures

    Change water filters on a regular schedule

    Follow a preventative maintenance (PM) winterization schedule

    Cleaning

    Deep clean the interior of the restaurants

    Hose down and squeegee interior spaces

    Power wash buildings and clean parking lots and exteriors

    Keep all locations clean, orderly, and presentable

    Painting & Small Repairs

    Paint building interiors and touch up paint on exteriors

    Replace broken floor, wall, or ceiling tiles

    Grout and re-grout tile as needed

    Patch holes in walls

    Repair or replace plumbing fixtures

    Miscellaneous carpentry repairs

    Grounds & Seasonal

    Groundskeeping and light landscaping (weeding and bed maintenance)

    Qualified Candidates Should Have:

    1+ years' of maintenance experience

    Clean driving record and driver's license to get to and from the different businesses

    Be available on call for emergency repairs and breakdowns (6am-6pm, and not very often)

    Strong organizational skills

    Demonstrated history of being dependable

    Excellent communication skills are essential, as this position involves coordinating on a regular basis with the owner, management, and subcontractors. Daily updates via phone and email will be required.
