The range for this position is $31.00 - $35.50/hour, depending on experience
POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Facilities Manager, this position will be responsible for maintaining production and quality by ensuring the operation of machinery, mechanical equipment, and other resources as needed, with a strong emphasis on safe work practices.

Work is performed in an uncontrolled atmosphere. Exposure to harsh conditions—such as: dust, fumes, chemicals, hazardous materials, noise, and varying weather and temperatures. Potential exposure to jobsites both domestically and internationally; living accommodations in some foreign assignments may not meet expected U.S. standards.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential function of this job. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to walk, stand, use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl and talk and hear. Physical effort requirements consist of regular lifting, pushing and pulling material weighing 50 pounds frequently, 40 pounds and under constantly. When there is an occasion to move heavy material greater than 50 pounds, the individual will request assistance from another person, or utilize provided lifting equipment. Ability to withstand heights and move up and down ladders and move through crawlspaces. Standing 80%; walking/sitting 20%.
SKILL/ KNOWLEDGE/ ABILITY/ EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or G.E.D. is strongly preferred.
Journeyman status or two year vocational, maintenance-related certification is preferred.
At least three (3) years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment is strongly preferred.
Ability to read blue prints, line and schematic drawings is required. PLC experience preferred.
High Voltage AC and Low Voltage DC experience is required.
Ability to obtain crane technician certification. Previous crane experience preferred.
Experience with energy control procedures and lock-out, tag out requirements.
Ability to work 1st shift, split shift, or 2nd shift with one week’s notice.
Must possess the ability to interact effectively with all levels of personnel, both hourly and management, in a team environment.
Ability to work flexible hours including, but not limited to, frequent and mandatory overtime, weekends, and some holidays are required.
