Benefits: • Medical • Dental • Vision • 401(k) • Life Insurance Responsibilities: • Visually inspects and tests machinery and equipment. • Dismantles defective machines and equipment and installs new or repaired parts. • Cleans and lubricates shafts, bearings, gears, and other parts of machinery. • Installs and repairs electrical apparatus, such as transformers and wiring, and electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment. • Lays out, assembles, installs, and maintains pipe systems and related hydraulic and pneumatic equipment, and repairs and replaces gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and related equipment. • Repairs and maintains the physical structure of the establishment. • Diagnoses malfunctioning apparatus such as transformers, motors, motion controls, drives, and lighting fixtures, and replaces damaged or broken wires and cables. • Tests malfunctioning machinery and discusses malfunctions with other industrial maintenance workers and mechanics, supervisors, planners, schedulers, and machinists to diagnose the malfunction. • Pushes buttons and presses keys on the robotic controller, programmable controller to program automated machinery, such as robotics, to operate automated machinery, to test for malfunctions, and to verify repairs. • Plans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings. • Complies with company, state, and federal (OSHA) safety policies, rules of conduct, and regulatory requirements. • Uses good interpersonal skills and communication to work harmoniously with co-workers, supervisors, team lead, shift coordinators, planners, engineers, and the customer. Works with other employees as a team and promotes the team concept. • This position is safety sensitive. Cross-Role Expectations • Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment. • Strong troubleshooting skills with a bias toward permanent fixes. • Willingness to work within a dispatcher-driven, priority-based maintenance system. • Comfortable with work orders, documentation, and shift handoffs. • Safety-first mindset (LOTO, hot work, confined space as applicable). • Team-oriented approach working with Operations, Engineering, and Reliability. Qualifications: • 5+ years of industrial mechanical maintenance experience. • Bearings, shafts, chains, belts, and couplings. • Pneumatic systems, including valves, cylinders, and regulators. • Hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, hoses, and leak repair. • Precision alignment and mechanical teardown/rebuild experience. • Ability to work from prints, sketches, or verbal instructions. • Welding and fabrication fundamentals (MIG/TIG preferred). Preferred Skills: • Experience supporting presses, cutters, and rotating equipment. • Root cause troubleshooting mindset. • Ability to support emergency repairs and planned outages. Compensation: $24 - $40+ hourly DOE
