Optimum and Southwest Women's Oncology require a Facilities Maintenance Technician who is reliable, proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe, high-quality environment that supports both patient care and client experience.
What You'll Do
Facility Maintenance & Repairs
- Perform routine inspections of the facility, equipment, and building systems to identify maintenance needs.
- Complete preventative maintenance across an approximately 80,000 square foot facility.
- Perform general repairs on equipment, fixtures, structures, and building systems.
- Diagnose and address basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
- Conduct minor repairs including fixing locks, patching walls, painting, and general upkeep.
Equipment & Systems Oversight
- Monitor and inspect control panels, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and specialized equipment to ensure proper operation.
- Identify potential issues early and take corrective action to minimize disruption.
- Support upkeep of specialized modalities and equipment used within the facility.
Grounds & Facility Upkeep
- Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the facility including interior and exterior areas.
- Perform tasks such as mopping, painting, and basic landscaping maintenance.
- Support upkeep of parking areas and outdoor spaces.
Vendor & Project Coordination
- Coordinate and oversee external contractors for specialized repairs or projects.
- Collaborate with internal teams and external professionals during renovations or facility improvements.
- Communicate issues and updates to the Maintenance Supervisor and Facility Manager.
Administrative & Operational Support
- Maintain basic documentation related to maintenance activities and repairs.
- Support inventory tracking for maintenance tools, materials, and supplies.
- Ensure work is completed safely and in alignment with operational needs.
