    Optimum and Southwest Women's Oncology require a Facilities Maintenance Technician who is reliable, proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining a safe, high-quality environment that supports both patient care and client experience.

    What You'll Do

    Facility Maintenance & Repairs

    • Perform routine inspections of the facility, equipment, and building systems to identify maintenance needs.
    • Complete preventative maintenance across an approximately 80,000 square foot facility.
    • Perform general repairs on equipment, fixtures, structures, and building systems.
    • Diagnose and address basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and HVAC issues.
    • Conduct minor repairs including fixing locks, patching walls, painting, and general upkeep.

    Equipment & Systems Oversight

    • Monitor and inspect control panels, electrical systems, HVAC, plumbing, and specialized equipment to ensure proper operation.
    • Identify potential issues early and take corrective action to minimize disruption.
    • Support upkeep of specialized modalities and equipment used within the facility.

    Grounds & Facility Upkeep

    • Maintain cleanliness and appearance of the facility including interior and exterior areas.
    • Perform tasks such as mopping, painting, and basic landscaping maintenance.
    • Support upkeep of parking areas and outdoor spaces.

    Vendor & Project Coordination

    • Coordinate and oversee external contractors for specialized repairs or projects.
    • Collaborate with internal teams and external professionals during renovations or facility improvements.
    • Communicate issues and updates to the Maintenance Supervisor and Facility Manager.

    Administrative & Operational Support

    • Maintain basic documentation related to maintenance activities and repairs.
    • Support inventory tracking for maintenance tools, materials, and supplies.
    • Ensure work is completed safely and in alignment with operational needs.

    • Experience using hand tools and basic electrical tools.
    • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot facility issues.
    • Physical stamina and dexterity to perform maintenance tasks.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
    • Adaptable and flexible in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong attention to detail.
    • Basic computer skills.
    • Ability to work with a variety of personalities and teams.
    • Willingness to work evenings, weekends, or as business needs require.
