What You’ll Do (Responsibilities):
The Facilities Technician is responsible for performing day-to-day maintenance and repairs across multiple restaurant locations, including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and general facility upkeep. This role responds promptly to urgent service requests, minimizing disruptions to restaurant operations while proactively identifying and resolving safety or facility issues before they escalate. The technician meticulously documents all work performed, including the time spent on site and the parts used, to ensure operational transparency and alignment with internal teams. Collaboration is key—this position regularly coordinates with vendors, restaurant managers, and project teams to deliver seamless service and support larger initiatives such as new restaurant openings, equipment installations, and remodels. This role requires frequent travel within the assigned region (up to 90%), with mileage reimbursement or a company vehicle provided.
What You’ll Bring (Requirements):
At least 3 years of hands-on maintenance experience—bonus points if you’ve worked in restaurants, retail, or other fast-moving environments
Strong skills in diagnosing and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and general facility systems
Confidence working with hand tools, power tools, and repair equipment
Solid time management—you know how to juggle multiple tasks and prioritize without missing a beat
A valid driver’s license and clean driving record (you’ll be on the road often)
High school diploma or GED required
Bonus: Trade certifications (like EPA or HVAC) and your own set of tools
