The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine, preventive, and predictive maintenance on industrial equipment to ensure optimal functionality. This role involves troubleshooting technical issues, conducting repairs, supporting equipment installations, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. The technician will collaborate with team members to quickly diagnose and resolve mechanical or technical issues to minimize downtime and support production goals.

Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on all equipment
Ensure equipment operates within proper specifications
Assist with installation of new plant equipment
Perform emergency and non-standard repairs of equipment and facility systems
Ensure strict adherence to health and safety standards
Lock out any dangerous activity or equipment posing a safety threat
Ensure all equipment operates in compliance with OSHA standards
Maintain firefighting equipment in accordance with federal, state, and local fire codes
Maintain excellent housekeeping standards
Support production schedules and assembly line setups
Participate in daily plant operations
Serve on plant committees and attend required meetings and training
Operate forklift or man-lift to move materials throughout the plant and surrounding areas
Identify and repair down equipment in a timely manner to minimize downtime
Perform other duties as assigned by management
Associate's Degree (AA) from a two-year college or technical school in Industrial Maintenance or related field; equivalent experience will be considered
Minimum 2 years of experience maintaining industrial equipment
Experience in industrial maintenance environments
Knowledge of OSHA and EPA standards as they relate to maintenance
Strong troubleshooting skills, including PLCs
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, wiring diagrams, schematics, and programmable logic controls
Understanding of electrical, physical, and pneumatic properties (voltage, torque, air and water pressure, current) in both metric and standard measurements
Proficiency in equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance practices
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Positive attitude and reliable attendance
Ability to work required overtime and during plant shutdown periods, including holidays
Relevant mechanical or electrical certifications are a plus
