  • Responsibilities

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support a fast-paced manufacturing operation. This role is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment and facility systems including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.

    This is a hands-on role ideal for a self-starter who can work independently, manage time effectively, and maintain a strong focus on safety and equipment reliability.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Perform preventative maintenance (PMs) on production equipment, forklifts, and facility systems
    • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
    • Maintain and service machinery through cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments
    • Diagnose equipment malfunctions and determine root cause with minimal supervision
    • Assist with electrical repairs (lighting, fuses, basic wiring) and minor carpentry/plumbing tasks
    • Set up, remove, and store production molds per documented procedures
    • Maintain and rebuild components such as fill guns and ejectors
    • Conduct water treatment testing (pH, hardness, etc.) and document results
    • Support maintenance inventory and interact with vendors/suppliers as needed
    • Read and interpret schematics and technical manuals
    • Follow work orders, job specifications, and complete all required documentation
    • Support predictive and preventative maintenance programs to improve equipment uptime
    • Adhere to all safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and PPE requirements
    • Maintain a clean and organized work area
    • Assist with additional maintenance and facility tasks as assigned

    Required Qualifications

    • High school diploma or GED
    • 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience
    • Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
    • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical documents
    • Experience with MRP/ERP work order systems
    • Experience maintaining equipment such as air compressors, dryers, vacuum pumps, and low-pressure boilers
    • Forklift maintenance experience preferred
    • Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
    • Willingness to work overtime and attend after-hours work as needed

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and push/pull up to 50 lbs
    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, and climb throughout the shift
    • Comfortable working at heights and using ladders
    • Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with noise, temperature changes, and moving machinery
    • Must be able to wear required PPE (safety glasses, steel/composite toe boots, hearing protection, gloves)
