Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician to join a manufacturing team in Rockford, Ohio. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems and equipment to ensure production runs safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have some electrical experience in an industrial environment and be comfortable operating a forklift when needed.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, machinery, and production equipment
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical components and automated systems
• Diagnose electrical issues and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and technical diagrams
• Maintain and repair motors, sensors, control panels, and wiring
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials or equipment when necessary
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Assist maintenance and production teams with equipment improvements and repairs

Qualifications

• Previous electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting required
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems, motors, and control panels
• Forklift experience required
• Ability to read electrical schematics and diagrams
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
• Frequent standing, walking, bending, and reaching
• Comfortable working around manufacturing equipment and machinery
