Position Summary
We are seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to support operations in a manufacturing environment. This hands-on role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude who enjoys troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production equipment. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and eager to continue learning new technical skills in an industrial setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on manufacturing equipment and machinery
- Disassemble, inspect, evaluate, and reassemble mechanical components and systems
- Support production by assisting with machine changeovers and equipment adjustments
- Operate machining tools as required to support maintenance and production needs
- Diagnose mechanical issues and implement effective corrective actions
- Safely operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment
- Collaborate with team members to support continuous improvement initiatives
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving mindset
- Electrical experience (preferred but not required)
- Familiarity with AutoCAD and PLC programming (a plus)
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Ability to measure and inspect parts using calipers and micrometers
- Experience working within tight tolerances
- Prior forklift operation experience
