  • Responsibilities

    Position Overview

    We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to support the safe and efficient operation of our warehouse facility. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving warehouse equipment, conveyors, machinery, and building systems.

    Schedule

    This position follows a rotating shift schedule:

    • 7:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
    • 9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
    • Shift rotations occur approximately every quarter.
    • Every other Saturday is required.
    • Overtime may be required based on operational needs.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
    • Perform preventative maintenance on warehouse equipment, conveyors, machinery, and building systems.
    • Repair or replace worn and defective components to minimize equipment downtime.
    • Complete emergency repairs in a timely manner.
    • Assist with equipment installations, modifications, and facility improvement projects.
    • Perform welding, fabrication, and mechanical assembly as required.
    • Coordinate and support work performed by outside contractors and service providers.
    • Maintain maintenance records and document completed repairs.
    • Ensure compliance with all health and safety policies and procedures.
    • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop and work area.
    • Perform general building and grounds maintenance as needed.

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 5 years of industrial, manufacturing, distribution, or warehouse maintenance experience.
    • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and preventative maintenance practices.
    • Welding and metal fabrication experience is required.
    • Experience maintaining conveyors, warehouse equipment, and facility systems is considered a strong asset.
    • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
    • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while managing multiple priorities.
    • Strong commitment to workplace safety.

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs.
    • Comfortable working at heights, in confined spaces, and in varying indoor and outdoor temperatures.
    • Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physically demanding work throughout the shift.
    • Valid driver's license required.
