Job Summary
The Entry-Level Maintenance Technician performs basic equipment repairs, welding of consumable items, pump rebuilds, preventative maintenance, and work orders assigned by maintenance leadership.
Pay: Starting at $24.00 per hour
Schedule: M-F, 8am-4pm (Overtime Available)
Safety Responsibilities
- Wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines.
- Perform work safely and responsibly.
- Report safety concerns to supervisors promptly.
Responsibilities
- Cut, bend, and weld pipe and fittings according to drawings.
- Perform daily walk-throughs and communicate with production personnel.
- Complete and track maintenance work orders.
- Repair pumps, motors, wiring, shafts, and related components.
- Communicate inventory and supply needs.
- Perform preventative maintenance according to schedule.
- Troubleshoot equipment issues and determine necessary repairs.
- Perform general maintenance tasks, including replacement of 3-phase motors and basic electrical repairs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Complete additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Skills
- Ability to follow instructions from supervisors and senior maintenance personnel.
- MIG welding experience.
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work independently.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous maintenance experience preferred.
- On-the-job training provided.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to climb ladders, bend, and work in confined spaces.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
