Job Description:

The Bluffs at Tierra Contenta is seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our team at our beautiful Santa Fe location. This role is crucial to ensuring the maintenance and safety of our community facilities, providing residents with a clean, functional, and pleasant living environment.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on building systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and other essential facilities.
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests from residents and management, ensuring timely and efficient resolution of issues.
- Identify and repair minor and major building issues, including carpentry, painting, and appliance repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance work performed and communicate updates effectively to management.
- Assist in preparing units for new move-ins, ensuring they meet our high standards of readiness and cleanliness.
- Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for self and others.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors and contractors as needed for specialized maintenance or repairs.
- Participate in ongoing training and development to stay updated on industry best practices and building technologies.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or trade certifications preferred.
- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field, ideally within a residential community or similar environment.
- Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to travel locally as needed.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work in various environmental conditions.
