As our company continues to expand, we are seeking a Traveling Maintenance Technician to support facility operations throughout multiple regions across Texas. Position Overview: The Traveling Maintenance Technician is responsible for addressing facility-related maintenance requests submitted through the company’s ticketing system by store employees and District Managers. This role requires frequent travel, strong organizational skills, and the ability to effectively prioritize tasks and travel schedules based on urgency and operational needs. This position does not involve repairing washers or dryers directly. Instead, the technician will focus on maintaining the overall facility and its supporting systems while coordinating with third-party vendors and contractors for larger or specialized repairs. Responsibilities: • Monitor and respond to facility maintenance tickets submitted by laundromat employees and District Managers • Plan and schedule trips across assigned regions using the ticketing system to organize workload • Handle urgent issues (e.g., pipe bursts, leaks, or electrical concerns) by responding directly or coordinating outside contractors (plumbers, electricians, etc.) • Perform general facility maintenance, including: Plumbing repairs (water lines, drain lines, valves, fittings), basic electrical work (lighting, switches, outlets), painting and drywall repair, broken tile replacement and other cosmetic facility repairs • Troubleshoot minor building-related issues independently and escalate larger repairs to outside contractors • Keep accurate records of all completed maintenance in the ticketing system • Communicate with employees and managers to confirm repairs are completed and follow up on pending issues • Ensure all work is performed safely and meets company standards Qualifications: • Experience in facilities maintenance, plumbing, electrical, or related trade strongly preferred • Hands-on skills in plumbing, electrical, painting, and general building repair required • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities • Ability to work independently, manage travel, and prioritize multiple service requests • Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required • Must provide and maintain a basic tool set (company will purchase specialty tools as needed, subject to approval) Compensation: $40,000 annually
