    Job Description

    Job Summary:
    The Maintenance Technician will perform proper diagnosis of any malfunctioning machinery, general
    repairs, installing new equipment and systems and preventative maintenance program on all assigned
    machinery as directed by supervisor.

    **Duties & Responsibilities **

    • Follow good housekeeping practices by keeping maintenance and tool storage area neat and clean as well as timely cleanup of work area after each job is completed
    • Install new equipment or rearrange existing equipment
    • Is available on call for emergency repairs as needed to keep plant in good running order
    • Maintain preventative maintenance records and perform preventative maintenance on plant and road equipment
    • Other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
    Preferred:

    • Electrical panel board experience
    • Motor Controls experience
    • Positive displacements pump repair experience
    • Trade school experience for electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and/or mechanical repair is highly desired

    Education & Experience
    Required

    • High School Diploma, G.E.D., Home School Certification, or international equivalent to High School Diploma
    • Minimum of 1 year of PVC plumbing, OR mechanical repair and maintenance work experience or training

    Preferred:

    • At least 1 year of Electrical install, repair, and maintenance work experience to include electronic troubleshooting, PLC programming, and 480V 3 Phase electrical repair and maintenance experience
    • Electrical Certification

    Working Conditions

    • Travel for field repair and install if needed
    • Ability and willingness to perform physical duties such as lifting, climbing, working at elevated heights, and manual dexterity
    • Ability and willingness to work in range of environments to include but not limited to industrial facilities, manufacturing facilities, and power industry facilities
    • Rotation for on call shifts / traditional day shifts (6am to 2:30pm) with flexibility
