You’ll run routine inspections and maintenance and create preventative measures to keep our equipment running smoothly as long as possible and minimize any risk. Responsibilities: • Manage other maintenance requests as required • Develop and execute preventative maintenance measures to keep our equipment operating efficiently and prevent any safety risks • Inspect the building for any structural damage to windows, doors, walls, and perform necessary repairs • Make records of when any equipment was services and repairs were made • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and systems such as plumbing fixtures, HVAC units, and electrical wiring to ensure optimal performance and make any repairs • Perform drywall repairs, touch-ups, and finishing work (patching, sanding, mudding, painting). • Prep and paint interior and exterior surfaces, including walls, trim, and doors, ensuring smooth, professional finishes. • Troubleshoot and repair basic plumbing issues (e.g., clogged drains, leaky faucets) and minor electrical problems. • Handle new construction warranty repairs, including addressing settling cracks, minor adjustments, and cosmetic fixes. • Respond promptly to tenant and property manager maintenance requests, prioritizing based on urgency and impact. Qualifications: • Strong understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and procedures • Should be able to demonstrate understanding of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systems • Needs to have availability to respond on nights and weekends to on-call maintenance requests • Must have graduated from high school/received GED or equivalent • Excellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detail Compensation: $23 - $27 hourly
