The Maintenance Worker is responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of equipment, machinery, and facilities within a fast-paced manufacturing warehouse. This role ensures that all systems are functioning efficiently and safely to minimize downtime and support production goals.
Key Responsibilities:
· Inspect, maintain, and repair production equipment, mechanical systems, and facility infrastructure (e.g., conveyors, forklifts, HVAC, lighting).
· Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and document activities per company guidelines.
· Respond promptly to maintenance requests and troubleshoot equipment issues to minimize downtime.
· Perform basic plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and welding tasks as needed.
· Maintain cleanliness and organization of maintenance tools, supplies, and work areas.
· Assist with installation of new machinery and relocation of existing equipment.
· Monitor and ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and company policies.
· Collaborate with production and warehouse teams to identify and resolve recurring maintenance concerns.
· Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance logs.
Qualifications:
· High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certifications preferred.
· Minimum 2 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting.
· Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
· Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
· Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
· Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and perform physical tasks including climbing, bending, and standing for long periods.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Willingness to work overtime or on-call shifts as needed.
