Maintenance and Engineering Manager - Manufacturing - Base Salary to 130k/year - Burlington, WA

• The Maintenance and Engineering Manager will be responsible for overseeing the engineering and maintenance functions across multiple locations. The Maintenance and Engineering Manager's primary responsibility will be to ensure the effective planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects and maintenance activities to support the company's operations. The Maintenance and Engineering Manager's will lead a team of engineering and maintenance professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage engineering projects including installations, facility upgrades, and process improvements
• Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy to ensure equipment is optimized, reliable, and downtime is minimized.
• Provide mentorship and performance management for the engineering and maintenance teams
• Develop and oversee the maintenance and engineering budgets, identifying cost saving opportunities while maintaining quality/safety
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging data and analytics to identify areas for enhancement in engineering and maintenance process.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in engineering and maintenance to introduce innovative solutions.
• Work with vendors, contractors, and suppliers to source materials, negotiate contracts, and ensure the delivery of high quality goods and services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering
• 5+ years of experience managing engineering and maintenance in a manufacturing/automated plant setting.
• Experience in an automated plant.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, maintenance strategies, and reliability centered maintenance.
• Project management experience with experience leading engineering from concept to completion.
• Familiar with CMMS
• Budget management experience with a focus on cost control and optimization.

Compensation:

• Base salary to 130k/year
