    Part Time, fluent French speaking live-out Nanny required for a West Village family with an infant (daughter born Sep 2023) starting Spring/Summer 2024. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child related duties including providing nurturing care and interacting with their daughter in an active, engaging, and age-appropriate way.

    To be successful in this role, you will need to be someone who is trustworthy, organized and who above all loves kids! The family are looking for a long term partnership and who is overall a positive and engaging individual. The ideal candidate is someone kind, fun, and experienced with newborn and toddler milestones. Strong communication, taking initiative and common sense/good judgment are key to this role. Flexibility for date nights, weekends and travel would be ideal. French fluency is desired for the role, however the family will consider all qualified and strong candidates.

    Location: West Village, NY

    Start date: April onwards - family is flexible on start date to secure the perfect candidate

    Days/times: Guaranteed 20-25 hours/week: the family are flexible - open to 2-3 longer days or 4-5 shorter days - looking for a candidate for flexibility as needed for earlier/later days, date nights, etc.

    Children: Daughter (born Sep 2023)

    Conditions: $35 - $40 per hour* plus unlimited metrocard, sick/personal days, vacation and public holidays *dependent on experience and other considerations

    For further consideration, applicants must possess the following:

    • Authorization to work in the US
    • Fluency in French
    • A minimum of 3-5 years experience as a nanny
    • A well-suited demeanor for working infants and with toddlers
    • Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity and high emotional intelligence
    • Proven tenure with multiple families including excellent references
    • Education or equivalent knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development
    • An open and flexible schedule - able to flex based on family's needs
    • Ability to complete all child related duties (including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning up/tidying bedroom and play areas, laundry, researching and planning playdates and activities, etc)
