Full Time live-out Nanny required for a warm and loving Tribeca family with one infant (due September 2024) starting late 2024. Specific duties to be negotiated with the family, but in general, you will be responsible for all child related duties including providing nurturing care and interacting with their child in a fun, stimulating, and age-appropriate way. To be successful in this role, you will need to be someone active, love to travel and overall be a positive and engaging individual. The ideal candidate is someone who is flexible with their schedule, proactive, experienced with newborn, toddler and school age milestones and who appreciates direct communication with the family. Someone looking for a long term partnership and being welcomed into a fun + happy home with mutual respect and boundaries would be ideal for this family. A can do attitude with a team player mentality would be a wonderful match for these parents. Spanish fluency is desired for the role, however the family will consider all qualified and strong candidates.

Location: Tribeca, NY (live out) and Bridgehampton, NY (live-in: Spring through Fall long weekends)

Start date: Family is flexible for the perfect candidate - starting no later than December 2024 (overnight NCS in place until December). Family is willing to offer a generous retainer to secure the perfect candidate in advance of this date.

Schedule: the family wants to find the best of the best! Likely Monday through Friday 7am - 7pm. Guaranteed 60 hours/week, with availability to flex for earlier/later shifts, date nights, weekends would be ideal. The family do plan on supplementing date nights/weekends with a babysitter as needed.

The family travels frequently to their Hamptons home in the mid- Spring through Fall, so someone able to live-in for partial weeks/long weekends is desired. June through August generally in the Hamptons most weekends.

Domestic and International travel is also expected with this role.

Mom travels frequently for work, so a reliable and dependable individual is essential.

Children: One newborn (due September 2024)

Conditions: $35 - $45 per hour* plus healthcare stipend, unlimited metrocard, sick/personal days, vacation and public holidays *dependent on experience

For further consideration, applicants must possess the following:

• Authorization to work in the US

• A minimum of 3-4 years experience as a nanny, 5-10 years preferred

• A well-suited demeanor for working infants and with toddlers

• Exceptional childcare references that attest to strong communication skills, reliability, punctuality, maturity and high emotional intelligence

• Education or equivalent knowledge of ages and stages of child growth and development

• Ability to complete all child related duties (including, but not limited to: meal preparation, cleaning up/tidying bedroom and play areas, laundry, researching and planning playdates and activities, etc

• Ability to commit for a minimum of 2 years for all permanent positions (this family is looking for a long term commitment)

• An open and flexible schedule and ability to travel

• A valid passport (or willingness to obtain by Fall 2024)

• Comfortable with dogs (2 small dogs in home, no direct care/responsibilities)

• Spanish fluency preferred (however, family will consider all qualified and strong candidates)

Additional qualifications we look for:

• A driver's license with a clean driving record
• Training and certifications such as early childhood education, defensive driving, water safety certification, etc.
• A degree from a four year college
