We’re searching for a Maître D’ or Lead Host to bring the spark, the charm, and the allure. This isn’t a clipboard job. You are the bartender of the host world, mixing hospitality, anticipation, and a little bit of mystery. You’re not just greeting guests; you’re curating their entire entrance into our universe!

This person is the ultimate vibe-setter and the heartbeat of the Fancypants experience. This role is all about leading the service, creating magnetic first impressions, and making each guest feel like they’re exactly where they need to be. You’ll run the door like it’s your stage, balancing warmth, coolness, and subtle exclusivity. You’ll guide the flow of the room, anticipate needs before they arise, and serve as the point of connection between the front door, the bar & dining room, and the guest’s expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Be the Face & the Gatekeeper: Greet guests like old friends, make them feel welcome, and subtly orchestrate the pace and vibe of the evening.

Control the Floor: Master the reservation system (resy), manage the flow of seating, waitlists, and table turns with poise and precision.

Set the Tone: Your energy, style, and attention to detail set the guest experience in motion.

Anticipate Needs: Read the room and individual guests; know what they need before they do

Be the Host’s Bartender: Provide quick, genuine, and memorable service that makes guests feel taken care of, while balancing logistics like a boss.

Support Service: Assist with running food, clearing and resetting tables, and maintaining smooth communication with the server and bar teams if it's needed

Handle the Details: Answer phones, and ensure every part of the arrival and departure experience is seamless.

What You Bring

Previous experience as a host, Maitre D’, or guest-facing role in a high-energy, vibe-driven restaurant or hospitality space (2+ years preferred)

Comfort and charisma when leading a service and orchestrating busy nights

Ability to balance fun, friendliness, and an air of curated exclusivity

Strong multitasking skills and quick decision-making under pressure

Availability to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed. We are open for dinner Thursday to Sunday each week.
