    Major League Softball (MLS) provides adult slow pitch softball programs throughout Orange, Los Angeles and Riverside County and we are constantly looking for anyone interested in making some good extra money in their spare time, while doing something fun & enjoyable. We hire year-round. A typical MON-FRI shift can be anytime between 6PM-11PM and consists of 2-4 games scheduled back to back (games are roughly 1 hour each). On Sundays we run leagues all day long and a shift can be anywhere from 3-8 games. Officials are contracted out 1 month in advance based on availability that you yourself submit. Pay ranges from $22.00 to $24.00 per game - CASH paid on the field same day. QUALIFICATIONS: Previous umpiring experience is a plus but not mandatory, MLS will train you. You should have decent knowledge in the game of baseball / softball. Must be ok with working outdoors and interacting positively with people. Officials must be RELIABLE, punctual and able to provide their own transportation. Daily access to email + a cell phone with texting capability will be required for scheduling. Candidates must be 21 or older with a clean background and in relatively good shape - as this job will require you to be on your feet with active movement and a little hustle.
