About Us: Making A Difference Consulting, LLC is an educational consulting agency that provides youth programming, professional development, and mental health services to K-12 schools, libraries, and non-profit organizations. Since 2007, we have served the needs of over 35,000 children, youth, and families in Northeast Ohio! We are currently hiring for a part-time school based therapist to go into one of our schools in the Cleveland/Euclid area as a therapist/consultant. This position is 20 hours per week. We offer: Competitive wages Schedule flexible with school year (All Holidays that the school has are off days) Supervision for clinical licensure No caseload minimum for productivity Paid professional development and training Part-Time School Based Therapist Therapist Job Responsibilities: Diagnose and treat mental health disorders witch children and teens Create individualized treatment plans according to clients' needs and circumstances Meet with clients regularly to provide counseling, group counseling, or case management Conduct ongoing assessments of client progress and maintain thorough records *Facilitate 5 or more groups per week Hours: 10am-2:00p.m. Tues-Thursday and 1:00-5:00p.m. Monday and Friday Position Dates: August 14, 2023-May 30, 2024 (Contract renewal at the end of the school year) Salary/Compensation: $25/per hour or commensurate with experience Therapist Qualifications/Skills: Strong interpersonal skills Excellent communication and listening skills Ability to build rapport quickly Detail oriented Strong ability to manage time and prioritize tasks Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements: Minimum, Bachelor's degree; preferred- Master's degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field Current with all Ohio licensing requirements- LSW, LISW, LPC, LPCC 4+ years of experience working with children and adults (not including internships) *Group Facilitation Experience To set up an interview, please email resume to Angela Flowers at acflowers32@makingadif.com or fax to 1-800-424-0182 No phone calls please
