    We are seeking to hire a motivated SOFTWARE ENGINEERING - TEAM LEAD to join our collaborative, high growth organization located at our office based in Lane Cove, Sydney, Australia. 

     

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Responsible for managing a team of software engineers to undertake software development activities with the objective to create robust products according to specification in a timely fashion.
    • Responsible for efficient development of high quality, bug free, secure products.
    • Manage a team of expert software engineers for core feature development, maintenance releases, bespoke development, and automated test systems for products during development and during production.
    • Contribute to roadmap and program of works for their software team and then plans, motivates and manages delivery of development program
    • Proactively identify areas for innovation with core technologies, systems and frameworks used in all areas of software development, researches options, consults with relevant stakeholders and then incorporates enhancements into development program.
    • Responsible for defining and developing automated quantitative performance analysis for monitoring and improving efficiency and output of the team.
    • Responsible for human resource management – planning for upcoming resource requirements and manage recruitment as required.
    • Take a holistic approach to product quality and security through test automation.

     

    QUALIFICATIONS: 

     

    • 7+ to 10 years software engineering experience.
    • 3+ years team leadership experience.
    • Knows computer networking from top-to-bottom and inside-out.
    • Significant experience working with embedded systems, particularly embedded Linux.
    • Significant background in hands on software development in a variety of relevant languages (e.g C/C++, Lua, Shell, Python, JS, etc).
    • Strong leadership and people management skills.
    • Strong problem-solving skills, and demonstrable experience at solving real-world problems.
    • Proven ability to work as an effective part of a team.
    • Passionate about technology, has highly technical hobbies (e.g: coding projects, contributing to open source, robotics, UAVs, home automation, etc.).

     Customer Services:

    • Welcoming patients and visitors.
    • Answering and referring inquiries within scope of practice.
    • Telephone: Answers telephone, processes call, and document appropriately within medical records. Returns all messages in a timely manner.
    • Maintains communication between medical staff, administrative staff, and/or patient/families.

    Clinical Services:

    • Maintains and updates medical records.

    • Appointment Scheduling.

    • Facilitates medical requests, to include but not limited to, refill requests, work / school notes, and form completion.

    • Scans and uploads patient clinical documents into medical chart.

    • Process and coordinates all medical provider orders to include but not limited to, diagnostic, referral, pharmaceutical and surgical services.

    • Reviews daily provider schedule and ensure all supplies and medical records are ready for patient and provider encounters.

    • As directed by medical provider and within scope of practice, provide patient education.

     

    Environmental Services:

    • Ensures all equipment in exams and surgical rooms are clean and properly set up.

    • Contributes to the overall cleanliness and appearance of personal work space and department.

    • Monitors clinical supply levels in exam rooms and stock room and requests when needed.

    • Maintains all clinical equipment. Evaluates all equipment for damage or maintenance needs and reports when needed.
