    Summary:

    As the Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating the successful implementation, migration, and adoption of a new, client-facing 3rd-party payroll/HRIS system. You will work cross-functionally and iteratively with current external clients and the internal teams that support those clients to develop a successful migration and adoption plan, as well as ensuring the new client implementation process is adapted to the new platform. A successful project will ensure all required technology capabilities are in place, all internal teams are trained and executing at a high level, clients are migrated on-time and on-budget resulting in high NPS scores and client retention, and both clients and internal teams are empowered and trained to use the new HRIS system to its upmost capabilities as your direct involvement sunsets.

     

    In this role, you will:

    ·Coordinate cross-team initiatives, manage cross­-team dependencies, and resolve blocking issues

    ·Act as a liaison between technical and non-technical audiences to communicate and ensure alignment and training; Surface key issues and changes which may impact expected business results

    ·Aggregate, organize, and communicate program information with stakeholders and extended teams

    ·Leverage change management best practices to ensure the successful adoption of the new 3rd-party SaaS software by both internal and external stakeholders

    ·Identify, escalate and drive to resolution internal process change enabled or required by the new HRIS platform

    ·Develop and manage detailed program plans that consider all requirements, constraints, resources, and deliverables associated with the defined business objectives

    ·Work closely with 3rd party SaaS vendor staff, internal technical staff, and the go-to-market team to drive cross-functional implementation, migration and adoption of a new client-facing SaaS HRIS offering with both clients and internal service teams

    ·Drive the successful execution of the program, including overseeing testing & validation, to ensure milestones and objectives are met and a high quality standard is maintained

    ·Identify significant risks and unknowns, define, and drive resolution plans including having a rapid response group ready for any client issues

    ·Create data driven insights using project data to track and measure team deliverables and KPIs

    ·Facilitate regular cross-functional syncs and project reviews. Participate in individual agile planning meetings as needed

    ·Develop and work closely with management to effect staff and resource plans to accomplish the migration effectively

     

    Basic Qualifications:

    ·10+ years relevant complex software Project/Program Management experience

    ·5+ years in managing transformative B2B (Client facing) SaaS implementation, adoption and migration projects

    ·Knowledge of and passion for Agile/Scrum and ability to apply it in a smart and practical way

    ·Demonstrated ability to help teams define clear deliverables and execute effectively

    ·Strong technical background and ability to understand complex product functionality (from a design, business, and technical perspective) in order to drive the right priorities, trade-offs, and resolutions

    ·Extremely well-organized with project information, practiced at exacting quality standards, and great attention to detail

    ·Strong verbal and written communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders

    ·Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to facilitate dynamic meetings/discussions

    ·Ability to manage and multi-task across multiple projects and teams

     

    Preferred Qualifications:

    ·PMP Certification

    ·SaaS Payroll/HRIS experience

    ·Expertise in agile methodologies and familiarity with Jira & Confluence

     

    Nice to haves

    Experience servicing a high number of SMB external customers.

    Experience with SaaS multi-tenant payroll systems (Execupay, iSolved, Apex HCM),

    outsourced accounting/tax software (Quickbooks Online, Sage Intacct, etc.)
