OBJECTIVES

• Design and oversee new construction HVAC installations, from start to finish.
• Create, read and interpret blueprints and communicate details of those when necessary.
• Adhere to all state, local and federal HVAC codes and regulations.
• Complete all internal company forms and keep up with all necessary paperwork and pick tickets.
• Must be able to operate and utilize Malek Service Company's P.O.S mobile system.
• Create proposals to homebuilders
• Utilize Malek Service Company's bid strategies to stay competitive within the marketplace.
• Present each customer with proper product information and customer satisfaction platforms.

COMPETENCIES

• Maintain a clean driving record & keep a valid driver's license.

• Be absent of drug use.

• Customer Service/Communication Skills: New Construction Advisors must talk, listen and help resolve conflicts with customers. An expert communicator will be able to listen effectively to find the root cause of issues and communicate clearly and in a friendly way to solve the issue and keep the customer happy. If you are communicating over email, you will need to be able to write well and use correct grammar.

• Problem-Solving Skills: New Construction Advisors will have to solve customer issues, sometimes without seeing the actual problem firsthand. Being able to problem solve with a customer will help your job.

• Patience : New Construction Advisors may have to deal with confused or irate customers with regards to technical difficulties or weather. Having patience will help you stay polite, even in stressful situations.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• A high school diploma or equivalent. On-site training and continued education will be provided.
• Must have at least (5) years experience in the HVAC trade.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to spend prolonged periods of time standing, sitting, or walking
• Ability to bend and climb
• Withstand hot temperatures (indoors and outdoors)
• Withstand cold temperatures (indoors and outdoors)
• Work in high or elevated places
• Picking up and putting down weight of 50 lb or less
• Mid to high stress situations
• Will be in proximity to hazardous conditions, equipment, and situations
• Employees may be exposed to moderate levels of noise and wildlife - birds, rodents, etc. (living and/or dead)
• Wear safety attire, such as goggles or other protective clothing
• Could be exposed to sounds and noise levels that are uncomfortable and distracting
