Job Description
As a Service Sales Representative you will be responsible for developing and securing new commercial HVAC service agreements and repair proposals. The position will require a self-starting, highly motivated personality with prospecting being a very important and substantial part of the job. You will have access to current and past client as well as a data base of potential new prospects. The role is a base salary plus commission-based sales role with unlimited growth potential.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
- Develop and maintain a strong sales pipeline
- Contact new customers though phone email and in person customer calls
- Develop and implement marketing plans and campaigns with results
- Communicate effectively with prospects the services and value message we provide
- Develop solutions for customers that best fit their needs
- Identify and effectively qualify all new leads and prospects
- Maintain an accurate and up to date CRM
- Develop strong industry relationships through networking, trade, and social events
- Join and participate in professional organizations
- Maintain a well-organized schedule
- Represent and promote the Mallory and Evans brand and culture
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associates Degree in Business preferred but High school diploma plus a minimum of 2 years in commercial HVAC service operation will be considered. Work experience, preferably within the contracting/sales, construction, or technical work environment.
- Must have a team first attitude with strong persuasive sales skills
- Professional presence in both verbal and written presentations
- Must have proficient computer skills within the following applications: Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Internet business application usage.
- Must have excellent Customer Service skills - need to be extremely comfortable and effective on the phone.
- Must demonstrate the ability to perform work independently and possess solid organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with both internal and external clients.
- Ability to handle a large and diverse number of projects, tasks and issues with tact, cooperation, and persistence.
- Ability to prioritize work activities based upon financial impact to desired business goals.
- Experience with basic project accounting or job costing principals is desired.
- Strong attention to detail and enjoy working in fast paced environment.
- Familiarity with the operation of Energy Management Systems, HVAC Systems and/or Temperature Controls preferred
COMPENSATION:
We offer a competitive base salary plus commissions based on experience and qualifications
