At Malone Painting, LLC we believe in having fun while we work hard too. We are currently looking to hire a Painter Apprentice to join our growing team! Malone Painting, LLC is a locally owned, dynamic and growing painting company, serving the greater St. Louis, MO area. Our projects range from small residential repaints and remodels to large scale commercial jobs. No experience is necessary! We are willing to train the right person who is motivated, wants to work hard and get to see the results of their efforts every day.

Responsibilities

• Learn and develop painting knowledge and skills, and take direction from production manager and/or site leader
• Plan and execute the rooms and surfaces that are assigned, under the direction of the site leader
• Follow sales estimate specifications for each job
• PREPARE surfaces for proper paint adhesion
• PAINT surfaces with proper equipment and paint
• PERFECT the project with professional results
• CARE - Treat both the customer and property with respect
• Listen and respond for opportunities for future projects/sales with customer

Requirements

• Consistently work 40 hours per week, typically 8 hour shifts
• Willingness to learn and receive instruction
• Regularly stand, walk, or sit for extended periods of time
• Climb ladders of varying heights
• Lift up to 50 lbs
