    Job Title: Mammographer (Allied)

    Location: Lawrence MA
    Employment Type: 9 week contract
    Shift: 8 hour days

    Pay Rate: up to $3000 weekly + benefits from day 1

    Job Summary:
    We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Mammographer (Allied) to join our imaging team. The Mammographer performs high-quality screening and diagnostic mammography exams while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform screening and diagnostic mammography exams in accordance with established protocols

    • Prepare patients for procedures and provide education to ensure comfort and understanding

    • Position patients accurately to obtain high-quality images

    • Operate mammography equipment safely and effectively

    • Ensure compliance with MQSA, radiation safety, and ALARA guidelines

    • Review images for technical quality and accuracy prior to submission

    • Maintain mammography equipment and report malfunctions promptly

    • Accurately document procedures and patient information in EMR/PACS

    • Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to infection control standards

    • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members

    Qualifications:

    • Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology or related field (required)

    • Current ARRT certification in Radiography (RT[R]) (required)

    • ARRT certification in Mammography (M) (required)

    • Active state licensure, where applicable

    • BLS certification required

    • Minimum [1] year of mammography experience preferred

    Skills & Competencies:

    • Strong knowledge of breast anatomy and mammography techniques

    • Excellent patient care and communication skills

    • Attention to detail and commitment to image quality

    • Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced environment

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to stand and move for extended periods

    • Ability to assist with patient positioning and mobility

    • Ability to wear required protective equipment
