Position Summary
The Mammography Technologist performs high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms in a mobile setting while ensuring patient comfort, safety, and compliance with all regulatory standards. This role also supports multi-state operations, equipment readiness, accreditation, and mentoring team members.
Key Responsibilities
Perform high-quality mammography exams following established protocols
Prepare and position patients while providing a calm, supportive experience
Explain procedures and answer patient questions professionally
Ensure image quality and repeat scans when necessary
Practice radiation safety for patients and staff
Maintain accurate patient documentation and records
Assist with inspections, licensing, and accreditation readiness
Monitor mobile unit supplies and equipment functionality
Coordinate service calls and preventative maintenance when needed
Support mammography operations in Texas and additional service states
Help recruit, train, and mentor new Mammography Technologists
Maintain compliance with state and federal regulations
Qualifications
ARRT Certification required
Mammography Certification required
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Current BLS certification
Experience with inspections/accreditation strongly preferred
Ability to travel out of state (all travel accommodations covered)
Strong communication and patient care skills
Comfortable working independently and on the road
Organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
Experience with computer systems and imaging technology
Schedule
Full-Time
8-hour shifts
Monday to Friday
Occasional weekends as needed
