Leading Westchester hospital seeks a Mammography Technologist for its outpatient imaging center.

Responsibilities:

• Performs routine and specialized mammography and radiologic imaging, prepares and positions patients according to protocol, applies radiation-safety principles, and provides age-appropriate, compassionate patient education throughout the exam.
• Produces high-quality diagnostic images, verifies completeness of studies, performs equipment QA/calibrations, maintains cleanliness and function of imaging rooms, and reports equipment issues promptly.
• Assists radiologists during procedures, communicates urgent findings (“wet reads”) to attending physicians when needed, and collaborates with clinical staff to ensure safe, efficient workflow across outpatient sites.
• Performs essential office duties including phones, check-ins, documentation, retrieving prior imaging, processing images or CDs, managing supplies, and participating in staff meetings, in-services, and coverage rotations.

Qualifications:

• New York State Licensed Radiology Technologist
• ARRT (M) required

Schedule:

• Monday – Friday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Salary:

• $97,757.45 - $143,059.47
• $10,000 Sign On Bonus
