ROLE SUMMARY:

    The Admin Assistant plays an important role in supporting the day-to-day needs of the department and team they will be assisting. The ideal candidate has previous general admin experience, excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and a driven solution-based mindset. WHAT YOU'RE GOOD AT:

    WHAT YOU'VE DONE (QUALIFICATIONS):

    • College degree or equivalent work experience
    • Previous experience in an administrative role
    • General Customer Service Experience
    • Cannabis experience a plus
    • Highly organized, self-motivated and dedicated
    • Intermediate computer skills including MS Office, Google Suite
    • Comfortable with learning new software and programs
    • Solid research skills
    • Flexible with handling continuous change
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • General project coordination and problem-solving skills
    • Detail oriented and able to manage multiple competing priorities
    • Strong track record of effective collaboration in a fast-paced, objective focused environment
    • Able to work well autonomously and as part of a team

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: (ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES)

    • Provide day-to-day overall administrative support to department
    • Employ stellar administrative skills to support a superb customer experience
    • Complete spreadsheets to track data
    • General administrative duties: scheduling, composing memos, letters, reports, and other documents using Microsoft programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
    • Manage communications for team, including preparing correspondence, reports, reviewing and summarizing mail and documents, etc.
    • Coordinate meetings, travel, events, etc.
    • Draft communications and follow through to completion
    • Interpret and analyze data from a variety of sources; create reports and make recommendations based on findings
    • Collaborate effectively with internal departments (Finance, Inventory, Production, Transportation, etc.)
    • Take on additional responsibilities as needed

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Able to lift, push, pull up to 25lbs
    • Good vision and hearing
    • Able to work on a computer up to eight (8) hours a day
    • Able to demonstrate all physical aspects of the job
