    WHO WE ARE: Mammoth Distribution https://www.mammoth.org/ has been working steadily for several years to help build the cannabis industry one relationship at a time. We are the exclusive distributor of multiple top-10 California cannabis brands including Heavy Hitters, Almora, and other products in the vape, flower, pre-roll, concentrate and edible categories. By establishing Mammoth as one of the largest and most professional distribution companies with best-in-class products successfully operating in the crowded California market, we are uniquely positioned for optimal growth as the legal cannabis industry continues to expand. ROLE SUMMARY:

    We are seeking designers to serve as the creative backbone to the marketing team and deliver key assets in support of high profile cannabis brands including Heavy Hitters, Almora, etc.

    WHAT YOU'VE DONE: (QUALIFICATIONS) 

    • Bachelor's degree preferred, Associates required in graphic design and visual communication, communication design, fine arts, or related field
    • 3-5 years of experience in creative experience in agency, studio or in-house, (previous experience designing for cannabis is a plus)
    • 2-3 years of experience with leading creative projects from conception to execution
    • A strong portfolio of design, showing an excellent sense of typography, layout, web and digital design principles in both 2D and 3D/motion graphics (portfolio required)
    • At least a general understanding of design for retail environments
    • An keen attention-to-detail when it comes to crafting designs, with the ability to balance quality of work with prioritization of output based on leadership directives
    • Ability to take direction and create salient art
    • Confident to make a persuasive case to influence design decisions with internal stakeholders
    • An adaptable, self-starter attitude, with an excitement to work in a fast-paced, low-ego environment
    • Proficiency with industry-standard design tools and software, including, but not limited to:
      • Adobe creative suite. PS, AI, ID is a must AE, XD, dimension and premiere are a plus
      • Must be efficient with one 3d software and 1 rendering engine
      • Web/ UI/UX development skills are a plus.

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: (ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES)

    • Work closely with the Marketing Team to help with ideating and executing brand materials including the creation of  stunning visuals that will represent us in print, digital and packaging
    • Receive briefs and directives and act on them discreetly with inquisition and attention to detail in making sure the brand objectives are accomplished in your work
    • Iterate on design based on feedback from team members, partners and stakeholders and turn it into an actionable plan
    • Play a key role to develop and build a wide variety of creative assets (in-app, print, web, CRM, social, etc.) to support product, marketing and business objectives
    • Perform quality control on all design, ensuring the creative aligns with our brand guidelines
    • Utilize excellent time management and prioritization to run multiple projects simultaneously, perform well under pressure, and stay focused on the big picture

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Able to lift, push, pull up to 10lbs
    • Able to work on a computer for eight (8) hours daily
    • Clear vision, speech and hearing
    • Clear verbal/written communication and presentation skills
    • Able to work in a variety of environments including office, warehouse, outdoor farms, etc. (Some of these environments may have varied and extreme temperatures ranging from hot to cold.)
