    ROLE SUMMARY:

    The Content Writer/Copywriter delivers engaging content that appeals to company audiences, attracts customers and boosts brand awareness. This role is adept at creating content that can be disseminated across various channels which may include print, digital, and/or social media.

    WHAT YOU'RE GOOD AT:

    • You are an experienced content creator able to write for a variety of different brands
    • You enjoy designing copy/content for B2B and B2C audiences
    • You are skilled at educating a diverse audience through interesting content
    • You can thrive and stay focused in a fast-paced and ever-changing industry

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • College Degree (ideally in Marketing, English or related field) or equivalent work experience
    • Proven work experience as a Content Writer, Copywriter or similar role
    • Portfolio of published articles, product descriptions, website, email and social content
    • Experience performing research utilizing multiple sources
    • Familiarity with web publications, media platforms and digital applications
    • Excellent writing and editing skills in English
    • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress)
    • Ability to meet deadlines while juggling multiple projects
    • Solid knowledge and understanding of cannabis industry
    • Stellar creative skillset

    WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: (ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES)

    • Collaborate with creative team to ensure proper content alignment with the strategy, vision and requirements of the project
    • Produce error-free content and utilize strong attention-to-detail to edit work independently
    • Ability to prioritize multiple projects with competing deadlines and seamlessly contribute to different aspects of the company's marketing needs
    • Research industry-related topics and trends to create content
    • Write clear and concise marketing copy and training materials to promote company products/services
    • Prepare well-structured drafts using various systems
    • Proofread and edit posts before publication
    • Create decks for sales team, budtenders, etc.
    • Craft marketing emails for consumers
    • Submit work to managers and colleagues prior to finalizing and make updates after synthesizing input and recommended changes
    • Coordinate with Marketing and Design team to illustrate articles when applicable
    • Prepare content for various online platforms including social media sites, websites, applications, etc.
    • Identify customers' needs and gaps in our content and recommend new topics to close the delta
    • Ensure all-around consistency (style, fonts, images and tone)
    • Update website content as needed

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

    • Able to lift, push, pull up to 10lbs
    • Able to work on a computer for eight (8) hours daily
    • Clear vision, speech and hearing
    • Clear verbal/written communication and presentation skills
