ROLE SUMMARY:
The Coordinator of Co-Manufacturing (Cannabis) is responsible for ensuring customer demand fulfillment through the oversight of Co-manufacturer relations and management of their performance (Output, Consistency, Cost, Safety, Quality, etc.) The coordinator also helps preserve compliance and mitigate supply disruptions to maintain proper capacity based on demand projections. Collaborates effectively with leaders in various departments including production, distribution, sales, etc.

WHAT YOU'VE DONE: (QUALIFICATIONS)
- College degree or equivalent work experience
- Production experience preferred
- Experience working with contract manufacturing vendors
- Able to manage and work well cross-functionally at all levels in the organization
- Excellent customer relations skills
- Good time management with the ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks
- Strong supplier management capabilities
- Project management understanding
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Able to review and analyze supplier proposals and make recommendations to leadership
- General math/accounting abilities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING: (ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES)
- Support on-going operations at co-manufacturing facilities: demand planning, production scheduling, ingredient and packaging sourcing, processing, filling, quality assurance, product safety, and integration with the distribution system
- Coordinate the production schedule according to work order specifications, established priorities and availability of materials
- Assist with developing supplier network, including identifying new co-manufacturers, based on business needs
- Partner with Head of Product to establish, manage, and oversee all aspects of the relationship with co-manufacturing partners
- Serve as a key communication conduit between teams and co-manufacturers
- Assist with development and management of co-manufacturing budget
- Assess current co-manufacturing strategy by routinely conducting risk analysis on existing partner relationships and proposing improvements or changes
- Ensure production requirements are executed successfully and deadlines are met
- Drive external (co-manufacturing partners) on continuous improvement initiatives by identifying metrics and measurements and creating a process to assess performance
- Troubleshoot and lead process improvements regarding production issues as they occur
- Accountable to ensure compliance of company SOPs
- Monitor production calendar and make adjustments as needed
- Develop project plans, timelines and deadlines
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Able to lift, push, pull up to 50lbs
- Able to stand and walk for 8+ hours per day
- Clear vision, speech and hearing
- Able to work on a computer
- Clear verbal/written communication skills
- Able to hear and understand directions
- Able to work in a variety of environments including office, warehouse, outdoor farms, etc. (Some of these environments may have varied and extreme temperatures ranging from hot to cold.)
