    Description:

    The Parts Coordinator is responsible for identifying and sourcing OEM and after markets parts with a high level of accuracy. Will have the ability to extract the correct information from Field technicians via phone, email, text and in person. The Parts Coordinator will be an expert in the area of medium to heavy duty parts identification with the ability to cross reference to locate suitable comparable parts utilizing supplies, catalogs and online part reference portals. They are responsible to ensure that proper parts are secured and delivered to client locations or to the main Managed Mobile office when necessary.

    Essential job functions:

    · Work closely with the Repair Team Field Service Manager, technicians, suppliers and assigned Area team members to determine the proper parts required for current and future needs

    · Ability to create part quotes as necessary

    · Ensure all parts sourcing requirements are met daily, weekly and monthly and report all results to the POD Area Manager.

    · Ability to present parts data and articulate to peers and the management teams as required

    · Ability to solidify vendor and supplier relationships with both OEM and aftermarket providers

    · Determine the optimal and most price effective manner to deliver parts

    · Maintain and build out the supplier portfolio to ensure best pricing and on demand parts requirements.

    • Demonstrate flexibility and an ability to respond timely and efficiently to clients, suppliers, peers and MMI Management
    • Participate in supplier selections and pricing negotiations.
    • Assess complex part problems and identify with a high level of accuracy solutions to address in an efficient and timely manner
    • Ability to use a multitude of online parts sourcing and research tools

    Qualifications & Requirements:

    • A minimum of 2 years parts sourcing with OEM and aftermarket suppliers for a varied range of medium to heavy duty equipment
    • Demonstrated ability to multitask and handle multiple parts sourcing projects simultaneously
    • Able to articulate clearly and effectively with technicians, suppliers and all internal MMI Team Members and Management
    • Ability to ask the “right” questions to source the correct parts
    • Must possess a high level of parts sourcing accuracy, initiation, follow up and ingenuity
    • Ability to navigate a wide range of systems and supplier programs in the parts sourcing supply chains
    • Ability to manage the on-demand delivery process

    Requires the following skills:

    • Excellent communication, both oral and written. Must be able to communicate effectively via telephone, email and written means
    • Experience and aptitude toward exceptional client service
    • Intermediate skills with computer applications (Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
    • Speak, listen and write in a clear, thorough and timely manner using appropriate and effective communication tools and techniques.
    • Must be able to multi-task while ensuring follow up and execution of required tasks
    • High degree of organization and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
    • Clean driving record and responsible and reliable to handle / manage company's assigned items, including but not limited to company credit card.
    • Must be a high energy individual with a strong work ethic and desire to succeed
