    ABOUT THE TEAM

    This team is part of the Data Management Solutions group within the FIS Capital Markets organization. We focus on providing clients with hosting, Software as a Service, and BPaaS solutions. We work closely with all areas of the business - Sales, Pre-Sales, Marketing, Product Management, and Development to ensure the solutions we develop on top of the two core products - Data Integrity Manager and Corporate Actions Manager - deliver everything our clients need from the service.

    WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

    Your role includes, but is not limited to:

    • Part of a team of specialists focused on Continuous Delivery of the Data Integrity Manager Service
    • Perform software upgrades
    • Perform configuration updates
    • Work closely with clients to define requirements and convert to configuration changes
    • Resolve configuration errors in the Data Integrity Manager Service
    • Participate in evaluation and selection of performance tools
    • Understand advantages/disadvantages of operating systems, e.g., Unix, Windows and of various browsers, e.g., Internet Explorer, Netscape, Mozilla Firefox, etc.
    • Isolate and resolve complex problems using appropriate diagnostic tools
    • Devise and implement solutions to correct performance problems
    • Manage and coordinate test activities for Data Integrity Manager in tandem with clients
    • Other related duties assigned as needed
    • Work with your manager on new solution development
    • Assist Sales and Pre-Sales teams with any queries and attend client meetings

    WHAT YOU BRING

    • Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, information systems
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Self-motivated and willing to learn
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to communicate ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise and professional manner

    ADDED BONUS IF YOU HAVE

    • Understanding of principles of multiple applications development methodologies
    • Knowledge of complex functions and features of installed database management platforms
    • Skill in all versions of HTML programming and other programming languages as well as skill in VB and Java scripting
    • Ability to understand and apply concepts
    • Ability to analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and tools
    • Team skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally as well as externally
