  • Responsibilities

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement a strategic business development plan aligned with the company's overall growth objectives.
    • Conduct thorough market research to identify new target markets, applications, and customer segments.
    • Prospect and qualify leads, generating new business opportunities through a variety of channels, including industry events, trade shows, and networking.
    • Build strong relationships with potential and existing clients, understanding their needs and presenting customized plastic injection molding solutions.
    • Lead the negotiation and closing of new business deals, ensuring profitability and contract adherence.
    • Oversee the activities of the business development team, providing coaching and mentorship.
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activity, identifying threats and opportunities to inform strategic decision-making.
    • Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry partners and suppliers.
    • Prepare compelling proposals and presentations that showcase our capabilities and value proposition.
    • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to business development activities.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field (MBA preferred).
    • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in a business development or sales leadership role within the plastic injection molding industry or a similar manufacturing environment.
    • Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and achieving business growth objectives.
    • Strong understanding of the plastic injection molding process, its capabilities, and market applications.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.
    • Strategic thinking and analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
    • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
    • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and CRM software.
