    POSITION OVERVIEW:  Our Enterprise Architecture team is growing and currently looking for a SR ENTERPRISE ARCHITECT.  In this role, you will be at the forefront of enterprise and systems architecture definition and implementation. This position will directly contribute to Trustmark’s Health Insurance business unit’s vision and strategy. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure that the solutions and systems conforms to disciplined, industry best practices while ensuring compliance with business needs.  You will help establish modern platforms to support core business capabilities such as Next Generation Core Admin Platform, CRM implementation, BPM etc. along with helping realize its digital and data ambitions.  You will provide technical oversight to ensure that third party vendors will adhere to Enterprise Architecture’s future state architecture, technology standards, best practices and reference architectures.

     

    As a key member of the architecture team, the candidate should be comfortable with driving technical ideas and communicating clearly with technical as well as non-technical audiences.

     

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Partner with the business teams, formulate and execute a technology strategy to establish core business platforms pertaining to health insurance core administration platform, CRM , BPM etc.
    • Develop solution architectures leveraging cloud and co-located platforms, adhering to Enterprise Architecture’s Future State Architecture.
    • Leverage cloud native architectures and patterns such as Event Driven architectures, microservices based domain services to support digital applications with a minimal degree of risk to organization and with appropriate security controls present.
    • Develop and or establish integration architecture and patterns to support data and application integration needs
    • Act as the ambassador and senior technical representative for Enterprise Architecture while engaging with other senior technical leaders throughout organization in design and implementation of cloud and cloud/hybrid-based information solutions.
    • Develop standards, reusable patterns, practices, and enterprise reference architectures based on industry best practices that align with the overall Trustmark’s enterprise architecture blueprint
    • Drive Architectural Review for solution proposals, drive guidelines and documentation
    • Collaborate with Information Security, Infrastructure Services and Application Development teams to choose appropriate technology solutions and facilitates complete integration into the enterprise environments.
    • Lead initiatives designed to share knowledge across Platforms and/or Technology teams. Identify, recommend, coordinate, and deliver timely knowledge to InfoSec, Infrastructure and Application development teams regarding technologies, processes or tools.
    • Promote Cloud adoption, Cloud-native application development, robust/resilient application design in line with reference architectures
    • Proactively identify and manage risks, opportunities, compliance issues or other architecture concerns
    • Perform as the lead solution architect in driving the architecture solution for business and IT projects
    • Lead innovation and maintain technical skills to stay up to date with industry trends
    • Translate and communicate complex infrastructure concepts with business and IT partners in easy to understand terms

     

    QUALIFICATIONS: 

    • Strong intellectual curiosity
    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • 12+ years of experience with Enterprise and Solution Architecture and/or Engineering.
    • 3+ years’ experience with Cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Azure etc.
    • Experience with assessment, development, implementation, optimization, and documentation of a comprehensive and broad set of technologies
    • Working knowledge of common and industry standard cloud-native/cloud-friendly architecture patterns
    • Experience in the design and development of best practices and implementation of solid security principles across the organization
    • Experience establishing enterprise standards, best practices and future state architectures
    • Experience performing as a project-level architecture to design for information security on large-scale projects involving complex topology
    • Experience within Healthcare (Payer) domain
    • Experience working with tools such as Microsoft Dynamics, Five9, Trizetto, Pega etc.
    • Exemplary general IT knowledge with applications development, testing, deployment, operations, architecture standards, best practices, information security and networking
    • Ability to work as a team member and leader in a diverse technical environment
    • Knowledge of The Open Group Architecture Framework (TOGAF) or other architecture framework
    • Knowledge of HIPAA, HITRUST, CCPA and PCI regulations
