    HealthFitness has a new and exciting opportunity for a PROGRAM MANAGER, INJURY PREVENTION & TREATMENT within our brand new corporate wellness program located in FORT MILL, SC. In this position, you will plan, develop, implement, deliver and evaluate the Injury Prevention Programs ensuring the highest possible level of engagement, outcomes and customer (client and participant) satisfaction.  In this position, you will coordinate and deliver ergonomic evaluations, shift stretch programming, and early intervention services with the overall focus being prevention of work related injuries. You will provide education and intervention within scope of position and deemed appropriate within client and OSHA guidelines. You may be required to triage mild injuries. All services will be provided in collaboration with our client’s existing resources and programming, which may include SH&E, Heath Services, Ergonomics, etc. You will be required to complete and accurately track and document all encounters with the client's employees, as well as to assist in the creation of reports for client and HealthFitness. You will lead the team responsible for daily delivery of all injury prevention programs and ensure quality, consistency and compliance and privacy. you will be required to assess effectiveness of current interventions and enhance delivery methods to achieve maximum program results and participant impact.

     

     

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Delivers injury prevention services, which include but are not limited to: conducting ergonomic worksite evaluations, coordinating and leading shift stretch programming, and delivering line-side coaching and early intervention services.
    • Coordinates the delivery of the Injury Prevention Program throughout the client facilities in collaboration with the client’s multi-disciplinary stakeholders (e.g. Medical, Safety, HR/Benefits,, Management, Unions).
    • Develop, promote and market well-being and wellness education programs to support injury prevention programming.
    • Collects program data for measurement of individual and program goal achievement, outcomes and results; supports the creation of outcomes focused management reports based on the identified business plan goals and objectives.
    • Supports the development and implementation of the yearly strategic business plan for results focused Injury Prevention programs.
    • Interfaces with client company management and peripheral departments as appropriate to assess client needs and identify HealthFitness programming solutions.
    • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with HealthFitness policies, procedures and applicable laws including recruiting, orienting, training, evaluating, developing and planning the succession of associates.
    • Other duties as needed/assigned.

     

     

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS:

     

    REQUIRED:

    • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Athletic Training.
    • Board Certified Athletic Trainer Certification (must possess active state licensure).
    • A minimum of five years of related industry experience.
    • A minimum 3 years of supervisory/staff management experience.
    • CPR/AED and First Aid certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association or American Safety & Health Institute.
    • Exceptional interpersonal communication and customer service skills.
    • Proven ability to lead a team towards collective goals and strategy.
    • Proven ability to collaborate and partner with multidisciplinary teams/departments.
    • Ability to effectively organize and prioritize work demands.
    • Demonstrated skill in creative program development, implementation, marketing and promotion.
    • Ability to travel to other client locations.

     

    PREFERRED:

    • PT or OT degree and/or licensure.
    • Experience with OSHA regulations and documentation guidelines.
    • Work experience in a clinical environment (occupational therapy, physical therapy, cardiac rehab, and/or nursing).
    • Personal Training certification from ACE, AFAA, ACSM, NASM or NSCA.

    Required Skills Required Experience

  • Qualifications

    Associate's Degree required, B.A./B.S. preferred, must be proficient in MS Office and have strong oral and written communication skills, excellent customer service skills, and one to three years of relevant work experience. Must be available to work evenings and weekends as needed.
