  • Responsibilities

    HealthFitness has a new opportunity for a full-time (30-40 hrs/wk) CHILD CARE ATTENDANT at our client site located in Georgetown, KY. In this position, you will provide a safe, comfortable environment for children between the ages of 6 weeks and 11 years of age; have positive interactions with parents, children and fellow staff members. You must enjoy working with children and have customer service expertise.

     

    DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

     

    • Light paperwork processing-records, attendance, cleaning metrics.
    • Light housekeeping-sanitization of toys, general pick up and towels. Opening/ Closing procedures.
    • Customer service and other member relations; management.
    • Implement activities, games, and crafts as outlined in business plan and as directed by Attendant Lead. Positively engaging the children.
    • Greet and check-in of children and parents.
    • Other duties as needed/assigned.

     

    EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATIONS:

     

    REQUIRED:

    • Experience in caring for children.
    • Must be 18 years of age.
    • Current CPR and first aid certification from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety and Health Institute by start date.
    • Background check completed prior to hire.

    PREFERRED:

    • High School diploma or equivalent.

    • The job candidate must be dependable, detail-oriented, able to follow directions, able to work under minimal supervision.
    • The candidate must be willing to work weekends and overtime hours.
    • Must be able to lift a minimum of 75lbs.
