    Job Description

    This position will work Eastern or Central Time Zone hours - successful candidates will be US based in the New York/New Jersey area, Chicago, Dallas, or Houston.

    • Lead team conducting AML/KYC reviews of both investors and investments
    • Oversee the utilization of proprietary AML/KYC software to manage investor and investment reviews
    • Manage multiple staff members, fostering a team environment
    • Lead calls with clients, effectively demonstrating knowledge of current reviews
    • Manage client relationships, understanding client priorities and ensuring client satisfaction
    • Review direct reports’ work periodically for quality control
    • Lead reviews of complex and unusual cases
    • Periodically review updates of both proprietary software and internal files for proper record keeping
    • Prepare monthly and quarterly billing reports based on number of completed reviews
    • Support clients with multiple private equity funds within various industries
    • Train team members on standard processes and review procedures
    • Assess operational effectiveness and lead process development
    • Stay updated on AML laws and implement necessary changes
    • Educate team members on evolving AML/KYC regulations and best practices
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • 3+ years experience in private equity, AML/KYC, or a combination of experience at an alternative asset investment firm
    • Advanced analytical skills relating to AML/KYC
    • Bachelor's degree
    • Strong track record of client relationship management
    • Ability to collaborate and lead others in a team environment, provide and accept constructive feedback
    • Effective and professional communication, especially written communication
    • Ability to manage multiple demands and competing deadlines
    • Ability to work overtime as needed to meet deadlines
    • Experience in or desire to manage and train staff
    • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word preferred

    Additional Information

    Salary based on experience and location ($85,000-$110,000) and full benefits package offered.
