    Job Description

    The Manager of Accessibility Compliance oversees Guest access to goods and services across the Theme Park and CityWalk, ensuring compliance with current and emerging California Building Code (CBC) and federal Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements. This role also serves as an advocate for equitable access and equal facilitation for both Guests and Team Members.

    The position leads the coordination, auditing, and implementation of ADA compliance in alignment with California regulations, federal law, Universal Destinations & Experiences standards, and Department of Justice guidance.

    Responsibilities

    • Write, update, and maintain departmental documentation, including policies, procedures, and audit reports.
    • Facilitation of accessibility compliance training programs for New Hires, new Management and other Guest-facing operating groups.
    • Oversee auditing of Park and CityWalk to ensure consistent compliance sustainability.
    • Analize accessibility-related incidents to mitigate risk and enhance the Guest experience.
    • Review and advise on new development for ADA compliance.
      • Point of contact for Creative, Tech Services, and other Park and CityWalk groups.
      • Read and provide feedback on technical drawings.
    • Identify, develop, and implement innovative systems to enhance accessibility programs.
    • Maintain complete confidentiality regarding all claims, incidents, and sensitive departmental information.
    • Develop and implement programs to improve client and employee satisfaction and ensure appropriate and timely investigations and responses to Guest and Team Member concerns.
    • Collaborate with Tech Services, Creative, Entertainment, and other Park and CityWalk Operating departments, as well as other contracted vendors to support accessibility initiatives.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    • High school degree with a minimum of four years of experience in related field
    • Proactive and organized with strong time-management skills.
    • Highly innovative problem solver with strong analytical and troubleshooting ability.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication.
    • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate and work collaboratively with all levels of an organization.
    • Self-starter with the ability to work independently with urgent deadlines.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to read, interpret, and apply statutes, legislation, code, and standards.
    • Ability to read plan and elevation drawings

    Desired Characteristics

    • ADA Coordinator Certification (ADACC).
    • Theme Park operations knowledge.
    • Experience with document control.
    • Degree in Business or related field.
    • Knowledge of Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) laws and regulations, California Building Code (CBC), experience in accessibility compliance.
    • Fluent in American Sign Language, certified National Interpreter Certification (NIC), or any other approved certification.
    • Strong personal commitment for advancing accessibility and championing inclusive practices.

    $80,000-$80,000 per year
