Job Description

Pay Rates Starting between: $110,975.00 - $146970.00/ year

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the preparation of the financial statements, preparation and maintenance of annual budgets and operating plans, managing accounting functions including inventory, A/P, and General Ledger Accounting.

• Prepares and reviews internal financial reports and analyses, managing complex reconciliations of inter-company and inventory accounts.
• Prepares P&L and balance sheets and drives process improvement.
• Conducts month-end closing process, addressing, and resolving complex issues, reviewing balance sheet reconciliations and performing variance analyses.
• In addition, this position will partner with the management team on various business issues.
• The Manager, Accounting will lead the audit process and have direct supervisory responsibilities.
• This role will supervise team members within the accounting department.
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned by direct supervisor

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of US GAAP accounting and reporting
• Proficiency in budgeting, spreadsheets, financial modeling
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy, high transaction volume environment
• Extensive knowledge of business combinations and inventory accounting
• Proven ability to manage people, processes, and systems in a team-based environment
• Ability and desire to initiate cross-functional process improvements
• Bachelor of Science in Accounting or equivalent
• Previous Controller experience is preferred
• Audit experience is preferred
• Industry experience is highly preferred
